Hi, I’m Esmeralda, the heart and lens behind Portrait Design by Esmeralda. My work is about more than just taking beautiful photos — it’s about building connection, capturing meaning, and giving back to the community that supports me.

Through my portrait sessions, I help families celebrate their love, milestones, and legacy, and I work with local business owners to create images that represent their brand with authenticity and heart. I believe everyone deserves to be seen and celebrated, and I bring that belief into every session.

I’m also passionate about using my business as a way to serve and uplift others. Whether it's volunteering with local causes like HCCM, the LISD Clothes Closet, Blue Santa, or Bates Mission, or partnering with our Chamber of Commerce to support fellow small businesses, giving back is woven into everything I do. I love photographing local families and entrepreneurs, because they’re the heart of our community — and it’s an honor to help tell their stories.

At the end of the day, my goal is to create meaningful portraits that not only preserve memories but also make an impact.
